What Is a 9FA Frame Tube?
A 9FA frame tube is a fabricated cylindrical component specified for certain Frame 9FA gas turbine combustion-hardware assemblies.
Depending on the power plant, drawing revision, and local naming convention, buyers may also use terms such as flame tube, combustion liner, frame sleeve, or outer sleeve for visually similar components. However, these terms are not necessarily interchangeable.
Components with a similar appearance may have different mating interfaces, hole patterns, dimensions, materials, coatings, or operating functions. For this reason, Blaze confirms compatibility using the applicable part number, drawing, technical specification, or qualified sample rather than relying on the product name alone.

Custom 9FA Frame Tube Manufacturing
Blaze combines precision sheet-metal fabrication with experience in manufacturing gas turbine combustion components. Each production route is developed according to the customer’s technical documentation and acceptance requirements.
1. Technical Review
Before quotation, our engineers review the turbine model, combustion-system configuration, part number, drawing revision, material, coating, interface dimensions, and inspection requirements.
2. Material Preparation
The alloy grade, sheet thickness, material condition, and traceability requirements are confirmed according to the approved drawing or technical specification.
3. Forming and Hole Processing
Cylindrical sections, repeated cooling or dilution-hole patterns, openings, and local formed features are manufactured using controlled tooling and precision processing methods.
4. Welding, Brazing, and Assembly
Collars, rings, supports, sleeves, and other fabricated details can be welded, brazed, machined, and assembled according to the approved manufacturing procedure.
5. Surface Treatment
Cleaning, heat treatment, surface preparation, and coating can be arranged when required by the customer’s specification.
6. Inspection and Documentation
Dimensional inspection and applicable non-destructive testing are completed according to the agreed inspection plan before shipment. Required material and inspection documents can be supplied with the order.

Quality Control for Critical Features
The inspection plan is established according to the drawing and purchase requirements. Inspection can include:
- Overall length, diameter, roundness, and concentricity
- Hole diameter, spacing, orientation, and pattern position
- Mating diameters, collars, rings, and interface geometry
- Weld appearance and specified non-destructive testing
- Material identity and documentation traceability
- Coating or surface-condition verification when applicable
- Final visual inspection, preservation, and export packaging
If your project requires a specific inspection standard, report format, witness point, or third-party inspection, please include it in your RFQ.
